Following the Veterans Luncheon at Mt. View High on November 11, Sen. Truman Chafin (D-Mingo) presented Welch Mayor Martha Moore a $10,000 grant, which will be used for improvements at the miniature golf course located at Linkous Park.
“I am pleased to present this grant to the town for such a worthwhile project,” Sen. Chafin said. “Welch has made major improvements due to the hard work of Mayor Moore and the City Council. I commend them for their continuing efforts and am pleased that this grant will assist them in this undertaking.”
